Xvidfa.st lists references to videos hosted on other websites. We do not host video files. This page explains how rights holders and others can ask us to remove an entry, and what we do next.
1. What we hold
For each video the library stores a title, a description, the address of a thumbnail, tags, a category, the duration and links to the page where the video is published. Removing an entry from the library does not remove the video from the website that hosts it. To take a video offline, contact that website or its host as well.
2. How to send a request
Send your request to our contact page. To help us act on it, include:
- Your name, whether you are the owner or an authorised agent, and how to reach you.
- A description of the work you say is infringed, or the reason for the request if it is not about copyright.
- The address (URL) of every entry on Xvidfa.st that you want removed.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your request is accurate and that you are the rights holder or are authorised to act for them (in the United States, under penalty of perjury).
- Your physical or electronic signature.
3. Other removal requests
We also act on requests that are not about copyright, for example from a person who appears in a video without consent, or about content that involves minors. Use the same address, explain the problem and tell us where to find the entry. We give these requests priority.
4. What we do
- We review each request.
- If it is complete and covers an entry in the library, we remove or disable the entry and keep it from being added again.
- We may tell the customer who asked for the entry that it was removed.
- We keep a record of requests and of our answers.
5. Counter-notice
If you believe an entry was removed by mistake, write to our contact page with your name, the removed entry, why you believe the removal was a mistake and your signature. We may pass your message to the person who made the request and may restore the entry unless they take legal action within the period the law allows.
6. Repeat infringers
We close the accounts of customers who repeatedly use the Service to infringe the rights of others.
7. False requests
Knowingly sending a false request can have legal consequences. Please make sure your request is accurate.
