Telegram bots and channels for your video feed
Link a Telegram bot of your own to the video library. Every new video that matches your rules goes to your channel, or to everyone who pressed Start in your bot, with a picture, a short text, hashtags and buttons.
How it works
- Create a bot. Open @BotFather in Telegram, send /newbot and copy the token it gives you.
- Connect it. Paste the token on the Telegram page of your account. We check it and set up the connection for you.
- Choose what to post. Make a feed: pick categories, tags or keywords. Send it to a channel (add your bot to the channel as an administrator) or to all subscribers of your bot.
- Let it run. New matching videos go out by themselves. A message to one chat costs 1 point (about 0.01 USD). You can pause a feed at any time.
Questions
- What does a message look like?
- A picture with a caption: the title, a short description, hashtags made from the tags, the duration and the category. Under it are two buttons, Watch and More. You can write your own template and, on some plans, add buttons of your own.
- Do I need a channel?
- No. A bot works on its own. People who press Start in your bot get a welcome message you write, the newest videos of a feed you choose, or both, and then every new video that matches your rules. They can ask for the newest videos again with /latest and stop with /stop.
- How much does it cost?
- A message to one chat costs 1 point (about 0.01 USD). Plans can lower the price and include points every month. A message that cannot be delivered is not charged. You can see your balance and history in your account and in our Telegram bot.
- What happens when my points run out?
- Messages are skipped, we tell you in Telegram (at most once a day), and the feed pauses itself after a few skipped messages. Add points and resume it.
- How many bots, channels and subscribers can I have?
- That depends on your plan. The pricing page lists the number of bots, channels, subscribers and messages each month for every plan.
- Is my bot token safe?
- The token is stored encrypted and is never shown again. Removing a bot also removes its connection to us.
- Can I manage my account from Telegram?
- Yes. Link your account to our own bot and you can check your balance and plan, buy points or a plan, and pause or resume feeds. It also tells you when a payment arrived or your plan is about to end.
- Are there rules I have to follow?
- Telegram has its own rules about what bots and channels may share, and it can restrict or ban a bot or channel without notice. You are responsible for what you post, for following Telegram’s terms and for the law where you live. Keep your bot token private.
